So the band had a big meeting last night. Much was discussed, and to be sure there are some VERY exciting times coming up for the band. If Mike can keep his hand healthy for longer than 10 minutes (two weeks after getting his cast off he's in burn bandages...).
At one point in the long smoky back-room meeting I was escorted to an especially dark corner of said back room by Allysia. Soon I would find myself flanked by Vic and Mike. There was no escape.
"Jeremy. We need to talk about the blog" Allysia began, cracking her knuckles as she spoke.
"The fact is, you do all the talking for the band, and this needs to stop. We want a cut"
"B-b-b-but Allysia I jus -"
"QUIET! Here's how it's gonna be. We're ALL gonna start blogging on the page, and you're gonna like it!"
It was like a movie then. The world began to fade to black as my three fellow band mates slowly descended on me and for the second time in my existence I would find myself lying on the floor of the bathroom at Triffons wondering exactly how I got there. But the short and long of it is, you're gonna see WAY more updates here on the blog and the topics will be a bit more varied. Everyone is gonna pitch in on the blogging duties! We'll be signing our names to our posts so you know who's talking and hopefully you'll get to know the band a little better in the process!
On a serious, but still awesome note, we've been invited to play at The Distrikt on Dec 11 with The League of One and Day Trip. We're finalizing details this week, but it should be an exceptionally excellent show and will be our last before we head to the studio to record our debut EP. I'll let one of the other guys - or gal - tell you the name...
